At ecopals, our goal is no less than to lead the change in the road construction industry. Together with you as our Supply Chain Manager, our first step is to give non-recyclable plastics a widespread use again: as a performance enhancing asphalt ingredient! Thereby, we have the potential of saving millions of tons of CO2 in Europe alone.

What you can expect

As part of our operations team, you will be responsible to build bridges between the recycling and road construction industries and help realise their sustainable potential. Scale up production for the transformation of non-recyclable plastics and relevant logistics as a hub between all other departments. At the same time, we want your out-of-the-box approaches and data-based optimisation in order to take our production and logistics to the next level.

• You will (re-)build our complex supply chain into a high-powered operation and execute optimization processes with all stakeholders from suppliers to customers
• You will be the voice of operations and directly coordinating with all team members to enable customer success
• You will optimize operations processes and set up data-driven quality control processes along the whole supply chain
• You will set up the base for scaling up our impact in the future by automating processes and tracking sustainability factors

What we are looking for

• You have experience in supply chain/operations management and their data-driven performance measurement, preferably in Waste Management/ Chemical Production context
• You are interested in your partners and their needs and show creativity in your communication (verbal, non-verbal, visual or in writing) - an interest in the construction industry and sustainable technology is an advantage
• You are very interested in developing yourself, taking over responsibility and gaining insights into all areas of a young company
• You are able to prioritize well and move forward in slightly ambiguous situations
• You are fluent in written and spoken German and English, additional European languages would be a plus
• You will ideally be living in Berlin
• You work conscientiously and stand behind our values of working together creatively, collaboratively and with integrity
